What makes Andrew, Andrew?
Well, I am positive, creative and energetic. I am personable, honest & caring. I am committed to my profession and the people who walk through my door. I love what I do, and I’ve been doing it for a long time. My number one desire is to help others reach their goals by sharing my theoretical knowledge, my therapeutic skills, as well as, what I learned via my own personal therapy process.
I have been active in the Human Service/Personal Growth & Development field for over years. I have offered my services in a variety of venues.
My clinical & training experience is extensive, as well as diverse. I am well trained in a variety of areas such as: addiction termination, behavior assessments and behavior change, communication skill enhancement, emotional issue resolution, fear transformation/trauma recovery, capable and cooperative children building, self-esteem enrichment, performance enhancement and personal power development.
My Accomplishments Include:
- As an adjunct professor, I have offered Human Potential Groups, as well as, psychological, developmental & personal motivational coursework to local collegians at Daytona Beach Community College (now Daytona State College), as well as, community health agencies.
- In 1987 I pioneered the Tier I Substance Abuse Program at Tomoka Correctional Institution, Daytona Beach.
- I served as Chief Hostage Negotiator, Trauma Recovery Team Leader and Trauma Response Training Instructor for the Florida Department of Corrections and provided training and instruction for Corrections Personnel for nearly 20 years.
- I have designed the following personal, professional, power seminars: “Responsible Decision Making Made Easy,” “Embracing and Managing Your Emotions,” “Changing Life Scripts & “Why We Are The Way We Are…Reprinting Our Family Blueprints.”
- I served as a professional consultant, trainer & coach with Performance Plus Training & Consulting of Carlisle, Pa.
- I am developing my first solo manuscript, “Therapeutic Healing - A Strength Based, Solution Focused Path to Wellness” based on my “Time Line Solution Focused Therapy” (TLSFT) model, and,
- I am currently writing my first book, “The Choice”.
